Can these controls be modified/translated with the [ir_translate] configuration ?

If yes - how to do it ?

I want to interface the sony remote control stick to the empeg make 1 - i know there is a solution for this, but it's not wornikng with v2, FF/REV does not work, and there is no way to access the menu. i want to have access to the menu via the control stick but the problem with the menu command is - the stick has to know if its in menu because the commands are other. or there is a way to simulate the fornt button presses via serial.

IIRC we determined that list is out of date, unless he updated it. The release notes for several releases documented more added commands.

They aren't IR commands.

Certainly the same thing could be done, but it wouldn't be ir translation.

Volunteering other people to write code tends to not get things done. If he's interested he'll do it, but the best way to get anything done is to do it yourself.

I don't think that we did. ISTR that I posted that list because someone complained that the older list on the old developer site was out of date.
