Hello, I am having an issue with my Empeg and I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen. About 1/2 the time I start my car the Empeg will boot up and then immediately go into standby mode. I then have to hit the source button and it will start playback where I left off. I always shut the key off without turning off the Empeg, sometimes it will start back up and play and sometimes it will boot up and then go to standby. Any thoughts????

There is another thread where others are discussing the possibility that a wiring fault in the PCA tuner module kit is causing the player to go into standby. Do you have a tuner attached?

Also, double and triple check the wiring, especially the main ignition-switched wire, and look for things like loose wires on the docking connector and blown fuses.
