Greetings!

For all of those players out there that either have a "wardrobe malfunction" (exposed niccles, pierced / cracked / broken) or who want to have a spare to prevent this from happening (like the FCC), I have just received 14 VFDs from Noritake. I do not have individual packing materials yet (I find VHS plastic cases with bubblewrap ship and store very well), but I will this weekend.

If you want to get a replacement VFD, a spare to have available or just like staring at glass niccles, you can have a spare VFD for $65 shipped. Noritake charged about $59.30 each, and with packing, shipping and PayPal, it ends up about even. Please send email in advance to confirm your order. Thanks!

By the way, sorry about the FCC / wardrobe malfunction jokes. There is a lot of press right now about the puritanical streak shown by the FCC and the paranoia of broadcast media...

Paul,

I got in on your last VFD order. I want to publicly thank you for doing this. Making the VFD order, out of your own pocket, and then offering them to the community at cost is amazing.

Thanks again for your selfless contributions to the community.

If you guys don't have one of these, get one!

Jim

Greetings!

This batch of VFDs has now sold out. I am hanging onto a few spares for myself or for those with broken displays only. Thanks!
