zaskar new poster Registered: 14/01/2002 Posts: 29 Loc: Toronto, Ontario	I did a search but the remotes I found were from awhile back and am not sure if there are some new ones that work with the empeg. I'm looking for a ir remote for the steering wheel let me know which ones work these days.

mlord carpal tunnel Registered: 29/08/2000 Posts: 14478 Loc: Canada	It can be difficult to "aim" an IR remote from the steering wheel -- the Empeg player would "miss" seeing many of the commands.

That was my experience with a small kenwood IR remote. This was in a 99 USDM Honda Civic. Pretty small car, but I couldnt get the empeg to see the IR frequently enough. I got frustrated and just removed the thing.
