Someone posted a link to several mp3 files a few months ago that were recorded during an excellent speach on encryption and copyrights in the digital age... I downloaded and listed to the speech (but I can't seem to find it in a search... ) But my question is: Does anyone else know of any other downloadable lectures like this? I must really be missing NPR if I am willing to download lectures huh?! :)

All I have been able to find on the net is a downloadable mp3 bible http://www.audiotreasure.com/#download and the mp3 news files of wired news http://www.wired.com/news/radio/

Any news in mp3 format would be great too! (or WMA, I can convert it to mp3...)

Thanks SuperQ! That is the link I was looking for! I looked up: encryption, speaker, speech, copyright... etc etc.

Here is what I resorted to: Going to CNN.com, streaming the Windows Media and capturing it to .wav and then converting to MP3... what a pain. I guess I will just have to wait for the tuner.. (the wired.com news is cool though)

checking the web stats.. we've had over 877 downloads of the talk, in different bitrates.. I havn't check the stats to see how many times people have played the real file.. that's hidden away on the real server (ugh)
