Version 2.0 of the player software is due out soon. It will contain many bug fixes and a few new features. It will probably contain new bugs, too, but that's what public betas are for.

Note that the 2.0 software was called 1.1 once upon a time. The Software Formerly Known As 1.1 was renamed to 2.0 somewhere along the development line. So you might see references on this BBS to "1.1", even though there will never be a 1.1 released. All promised features for 1.1 will be in 2.0.

VR (Voice Recognition) will not be in the 2.0 release. With the EOL (End of Life) announcement, it is uncertain what the future of VR will be. There is still a possibility that it might make it into a future software release.
