So, what happens to us poor fools who paid $900 for a 20GB unit a week (well, OK, 10 days) before they dropped the price by 2/3rds? Do I order a new one and return this one under the 30-day MBG, or is there some kind of price protection?

I don't mind paying a little extra for early adoption but this is just silly...

Help!

Read the Price Drop thread for more info, but, basically, you should be able to get a rebate/refund by contacting SB.

Call SonicBlue customer service and open a case number. There is a 30-day window for the price rebate (if you bought your player 30 days before the price drop).

Not a problem, just call or email customer service in the US (for eStore purchases) or UK (for International Store purchases). We'll refund the difference so long as you ordered in the last 30 days.
