I had come across news about such Linux based players since the times of the empeg Mk1, but seriously considered buying a unit only recently... and now it seems the production discontinued... Sigh!

I read about those extra empeg Mk2.a (same as Rio Players) that Jeremy was selling... and I wonder whether one of them is still available for an order or not... Anyone? Jeremy?

If I get you right, the limited offer from Jeremy for the BBS members ($ 299 +$48 S/H on the temporary web page) has expired... so the only way is going through the ordering page http://order.kagi.com/cgi-bin/r1.cgi?1HV1&& (at $319 +$38)... Can you please confirm this?

One last question...: for multiple orders, is still valid what Jeremy suggested (pun only one unit on international shipping and a second with a 2nd day shipping)?

Sorry I haven't a clue - Jeremy is quite independent to SONICblue and I'm not really trying to keep up with what he is doing. I'm sure he'll provide answers for you.

I do recall that the BBS offer only works out about $10 cheaper for international orders because the shipping price is lower in the main store page.
