Hi, quick question:

If I've just signed up with a web host, and just assigned the nameservers to my domain name account, is there a way to manually set my browser to go to that place (by IP address or whatever) instead of its old location? I don't want to wait until it propogates all around!

You can manually set your computer's DNS settings to that of your first and second name server for your website.

What kind of OS are you running?

In Windows you can just add a entry to the "host" file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

In Linux you would add the entry to /etc/hosts

Of course, once the settings have propagated around the internet, you can delete the entry again...
