I was talking about the sit-com style shows that are about 24 minutes (including opening logos/animations and credits) and 6 episodes per series. I also do realize a number of shows in the UK feature longer series (8 to 14 episodes), including reality-based programs like Top Gear and The F Word for instance. But those shows don't help me with my IT Crowd fix.
