Yea, I would agree. But it leaves me thinking what is the point at all ???

If it offered a low resolution image that I could fine focus and use it to extend the composition options in a shot then I would be very interested. At the moment I am struggling to think of many situations where I would actually want to focus on different planes. Maybe a bride walking down the aisle, perhaps.

Still I'll jump at the chance to have a play when I get the chance.
