its an extra drive (existing one is 10GB). I have looked at the posts on this board and have tried everything suggested without success. Out of frustration though i did try applying V1.03 consumer update to the new drive (even though i havnt got as far as getting the builder to work, and format it yet) and it appeared to work. Player rebooted and was fine. emplode wouldnt work though (i assume because the drive needs to be built properly).
