Ever used StarOffice on a text console?
My Linux system (at least the one I keep all my web pages and empeg stuff on) does have a VGA card, but 640x480 is no fun, and higher resolutions aren't supported on this hardware by XFree86. Even now, I'm using links (the software, a text based web browser) to visit the BBS.
Now getting a bit more honest, I do have access to MS Office (in the office), but that is there and I am here, with 60km in between. So in theory, I could just wait for thursday (when I get back to the office) and convert it there myself.
But really, why was it posted as an Excel file in the first place?
