I notice neither are widescreen. Are you guys is the US still not buying widescreen, i.e. 16:9 ratio, screens ?

Widescreen TVs exist, but until very recently they were waaaay more expensive than 4:3 TVs.

I recently purchased a TV that supports HD (the 16:9 format in the US, which has some, but not much, usage), and I got one that has a 4:3 glass tube, but will switch to 16:9 if it sees an appropriate signal.
