Thanks all for the clear cut advice, I did end up getting the Wega on Friday night when it happened to be selling for an additional $27 less. Add that to the $50 coupon from the Best Buy flier it came down to quite a nice price.

I also had the pleasure of giving one of these coupons to some random person in the store who was looking at buying the same TV....the look on thier face was fantastic!

Also picked up a Toshiba SD-3800 DVD player, now all I need is my Series 2 DirecTV TiVo.
All this is a great step up from the 13" we used to squint at.
