Go for the cheapest big-name (are there any others??) branded drive

I saw vpr Matrix drives at my local BestBuy a month ago or so. I'd never heard of them before, but maybe I'm out of the loop. Looking at their web site, they look like they're probably rebranded WD drives, which is odd considering BestBuy also sells WD.
