If a Caterham is too expensive for you, try a Westfield (www.westfield-sportscars.co.uk). Same thing really, but as you aren't paying for an expensive badge on the front, you get much more car for less money

Although they are not practical, offer no protection from the elements, have no creature comforts, make you go deaf, have no crash protection, etc.

They are, however, huge fun.

New MR2 is very good, but again not very practical.

How about the new VX220 Turbo? The same as an Elise, but with a better engine and a warranty worth having.
