If it could be connected via bluetooth or some such, I'd agree that that'd be nice, but you have to f'ing plug it in. And it isn't, AFAIK, a simple slide-it-into-the-slot type plugin, either. It's a two-handed grab-the-cable-and-orient-both-devices-properly-and-connect-the-fiddly-little-connector plugin.
