I agree a headset like this is the way to go. I also use a binaural headset (sound in both ears) and now I can't imagine being without it, especially for long calls. I used to have a Plantronics Supra headset, but I swtiched to a Sennheiser binaural headset and a matching amplifier (UI 750) that hooks the headset to my phone and to my computer. You switch between the two with a plunger button on the amplifier. They are expensive but worth every penny if you have to talk much (I am on the phone 20+ hours a week).
