Like you, I'm also interested in a convenient way of performing TiVo video extraction. A year or so ago, it was a bit hit & miss aligning the video and audio streams and certainly a hacker's rather than a consumer's solution. After a brief glimpse, I believe that has all changed but I have a few networking infrastructure things to finalise here before I'm ready to attempt video extraction!

In order to reach the proper target readership, I think this thread title probably should have included words like "TiVo, video & extraction" - if you don't get some authoritative replies here then I suggest trying again using those terms. Meanwhile, I'll sit here quietly on the sidelines!
