Yes, there is my powercable plugged in the AC-adapter jack.

Well, I feel comfortable with soldering the jack only, if I know that it is the jack for sure which causes the problem... But I read too much about faulty capacitors and all the stuff that I wasn't sure...

But if you tell me that it is the jack, then I will go for a replacement one from Reichelt..
I had hoped that someone would tell me something like, plug in ac cable, connect contact 3 with 4 and see if it is correct now.. or press and hold the left button when powering up to diagnose the boot process or enter the manual upgrade mode... :-/

I will unscrew the motherboard and have a look how difficult this could be...
