Bagpuss member Registered: 24/05/2000 Posts: 108 Loc: UK	Thanks to Tony and Mark for the suggestions. I'm going to run with the fan (albeit somewhat slowed down), and see if this solves the problem. If not, I guess I'll have the change the DC socket again (I have got a spare). Thanks, Andy.
