I'll step up for this one.
You want a Panasonic Veria Plasma, these babies have what Panny calls TUF displays. (Tough Under Force) There is an extra piece of glass in front of the panel, making it more resistant to breakage. Available in 720p, 1080i and various sizes.
AFAIK Panasonic is the only flat panel maker that incorporates additional protection against breakage. Curiously neither they nor anyone else seems to be playing this up as major benefit.
