You don't have to be a DirecTV subscriber. I set this up a friend of mine with endless pockets. He's apparently pleased with it.

I can't wait for the day cable TV companies become just a dumb pipe for data. I have a pretty minimal television plan, but it still includes a bunch of stuff I never watch.
