Or maybe a loose wire inside the casing which vibrates at exactly the right frequency/amplitude corresponding to certain piano notes. Sometimes the wires connecting the pickup system in my guitar will buzz faintly, only to certain notes or chords played loudly. Fixed by reaching in and tweaking the positioning of the wire so it didn’t touch the wood.
