I've lost count of the number of times that I've reached for the 8-second replay on the DVD remote just to notice that it's not there:(
Mine does have an instant replay button, it's cheap Sony of some sort.
(I don't know what model it is because I went shopping for a DVD player with a tape measure in lieu of a feature list. It had to be thin enough to fit in my rack and it had to be 19" wide to "fit in" in my rack. )
