I want to know what (if any) programs or ways everyone here normalizes there mp3s? Lets say I have 100 mp3s and a hand full of them are off sync volume wise. What's the best way to go about getting them normalized? If there any good programs that might do this?

Only way I can see this being viable is to decode them all to wavs and recode them using a mp3 encoder w/ normalization. But I don't know how good this will actualy work. I know I can re rip all the cd's but that is waay to much of a hastle, and of course there are several songs I don't have cd's for (had to fill in the gaps to my top 100's some how).

So I leave it up to the wonderfull EMPEG BBS with there all knowing and powerfull knowledge to help me out with a simple solution.
