I moved from my WRT54G to a Netgear WNDR3700 running OpenWRT. It definitely has the specs: Dual 2.4GHz and 5GHz Radios, Gigabit and USB. I find it reliable too. I think Mark has the same one.

Important to note is that I find the reception from the old WRT54G to be significantly better than the new WNDR3700. Maybe it is because I have the router laying flat and the internal antennae are not so happy in this orientation? Not sure. 2.4GHz can reach about 75% of my small apartment, 5GHz about 60%. The old WRT54G would give me excellent reception throughout.
