From what I have seen, and if this is a good estimate, my 120GB of music only generates a database file of about 2.5MB.
Ah. Laura could have a problem then. A Mark 1 has a total of 2.5M available for caching and database. If the database alone is larger than that, the player will not start. If the database is larger than about 1.75M, there will be so little cache that the player can never spin the disk down.
