This sounds fantastic. I'm dying to hear it in action. Two questions:

1: I assume everything you're doing so far has been in Linux? Are you experienced enough with Windows coding to try it as a WinAmp plug-in?

2: Does it alter the bits of the wave data directly, or does it jockey the volume control on the player software?
