I'm pretty sure there was a harddisk size limitation because of the limited RAM of the player. My players are MK2a's, so those got 16MB of RAM, but there's a limitation somewhere nonetheless. Just can't remember what it was. I'd hate to invest in this harddisk, only to find out I can't use it because the player can't handle 256GB drives.
