No, I'm complaining that an object designed to be carried in a pocket has only a flimsy piece of flexible plastic to protect its glass.
Don't carry it with anything else in your pocket? If it was a keyring camera then yes, I'd expect it to survive in there with your keys & random junk but not otherwise.
