Oh.. and I now see that these are SATA SSDs.
Which cannot work as-is in an empeg (wrong connector, among other issues).

So.. how do you have them connected ?

EDIT: Mmm.. I suppose the maker might have built-in
a SATA-to-IDE convertor chip, which could explain that.
And those chips often cause other problems, too.
