Do you really want to argue this? It's a pretty untenable position. Do you think that theologians and the church as a whole have gotten it wrong for 1000's of years?

If you place any stock at all in the authenticity and authority of the Bible, you have to acknowledge the teaching that runs throughout to tell others about God. If you wish to disregard scripture, that's a whole other issue.

I could do an entire exposition on the biblical teaching of evangelism, but I'm not sure it's wanted or needed. I think that we agree that using religion as a platform for political gain is wrong (if you believe in right and wrong and that sort of thing.)
