I'm still not sure if I want to ditch my originals. I'm sort of treating Google Photos as a second backup, and I'm currently on a good grandfathered data plan for Drive of 200GB for $50/year. I haven't had a need to jump up to their next plan of 1TB for $120/year. Maybe when I hit that 200GB limit I'll rethink it.
