As lackluster as iOS development has been, Apple still has a better, more polished and more usable software product today than Google is likely ever to have. That's the sad sad truth - for those who don't own Apple stock anyway. It's especially sad because Apple's software leaves so much room for improvement.

It also looks like another stellar quarter for Cupertino, let the good times roll.
