Do I see two folders with the exact same name?

Two decades involved in software development on a bunch of platforms, including a lot of Windows stuff, I did. The transition to Mac was refreshing, once I stopped thinking like a PC

I have yet to find a photo management system I like on Mac. Some third party software looks interesting but I have not yet spent enough time to make a choice.
