Admittedly it is not. But you have a business doing computer support right? How much time do you spend supporting Macs vs. PCs? From my purely anecdotal experience, there's a dramatic difference. I do wonder if the more helpful thing ISN'T to recommend the better alternative.

That said, from the perspective that Doug clearly isn't interested in switching, I suppose it's not terribly helpful. But from the perspective of avoiding strange behavior, I'd say it's a pretty good suggestion.

And no, I'm not an Apple fanboy and yes, there are a few features in Windows that I find better and more intuitive than OS X, but I'm also a user of both for many years and recognize that one clearly has fewer issues.
