So far so good. Clearing and deleting everything... does this really take an hour!? I can't wait that long. Heheh. Can't wait to get a bash prompt on my Tivo. Sweet sweet nerdy goodness.

EDIT: Hrmm... after the clear and delete it rebooted and is making go through the guided setup again... that's not in the instructions. I hate when things happen that aren't in the guides. haha. I guess I'll reboot again and see what happens...


Okay, i've got bash. Anyone know why everytime I type a letter it is doubled on the console? For instance, if I type "mount" i get:

bash-2.02# mmoouunntt

EDIT 2: Got it. Use the -K flag when telnetting. I'm in!
