From interviews I've heard with Arrested Development people, they are cutting the # of episodes to make room for American Idol - not American Dad.

Like I said, I probably just liked it because I love Family Guy so much and it was a temporary fix... the sad part is that from Seth's interviews, he's been working on that show for a long long time. To be honest, I'm more afraid that the magic will be gone from Family Guy once they try to start that up again.
