So, no voltage divider is required on the I2S lines now either, as those are 3.3V logic already. You can leave them if you're (rightfully) paranoid though.

If you drop the switch to the other position, the LED should light up, and the reset button will also become functional again (though not needed for anything).

Dunno if that would bugger anything else though. It should be fine with VDD_CHG floating.

It is great to see it all back at 3.3V now, which is what the WT32i really wants for easy interfacing. I can power mine from the 3.3V output of the empeg (near the I2S pads).
